The day was filled with excitement when these two stunning ladies from Genoa City joined up.

Devotees of ‘Young & Restless’ learned that Melissa Claire Egan, who plays Chelsea, was expecting her second child in February.

They were thrilled for the actress, who had previously shared her devastating experience of a miscarriage.

However, she isn’t the only one on the CBS daytime set sporting a baby bump lately.

Despite Egan’s real-life pregnancy, it hasn’t been incorporated into her character, Chelsea’s storyline. Chelsea is currently exploring a new love angle with her ex-fiancé, Billy Abbott, and often seen seated behind tables.

Meanwhile, another star is preparing to transition to maternity attire.

The storyline took a dramatic turn when Sally from ‘Young & Restless’ discovered her pregnancy after a test and was faced with the uncertainty of who the father was among the men she’d been recently intimate with.

Or should we say, which brother? It was truly a tangled web of events.

A DNA test confirmed that her ex, Adam, was the baby’s father, not Nick, the Newman brother she’s currently involved with.

This revelation created another problem as he had to be informed about the pregnancy. Fortunately for Sally, her ex-boyfriend, known for his unpredictable temper, has been relatively calm since discovering he’s about to be a father.

In a recent episode, Sally and Nick were about to enjoy some burgers when Adam arrived, showing concern for her and his unborn child. Sally invited him to join them.

In a convenient twist, Nick was called away by his daughter, leaving the former couple alone. The playful banter and smiles between Sally and Adam reminded fans of their previous close bond, sparking hopes of a possible reunion among “Ally” followers.

Adding a dash of excitement to this is the fact that Courtney Hope and Mark Grossman are a couple off-screen.

In the show, Sally’s pregnancy had just begun to be noticeable when she and Nick were getting ready for a gala. She expressed her concern about people’s judgement, but Nick comforted her.

Her baby bump was just barely visible in those scenes, but as we all know, it’s bound to become significantly more prominent in ‘soap time’ over the next few weeks.

In fact, Courtney Hope’s artificial baby bump is likely to catch up to Egan’s real-life bump soon.

To substantiate it, check out this photo where Hope and Egan compared their bumps side by side at CBS Studios. Egan posted the picture of the cheerful duo on social media, captioning it, “One real bump, one fake bump!
